Shannon Frew was born and raised in Edmonton. She stepped into the world of eyewear in 2004 on a whim while attending post-secondary studies in another field. After completing her courses, she did not want to leave her part-time optical job, so she enrolled in NAIT to study optical sciences—eyeglasses. Shannon received awards and recognition for highest academic achievement in both years of the program.
She managed an optical store from 2010–2017 and has been at Visionary Eye Centre since 2018. She especially enjoys building lasting relationships with our patients.
Shannon is the mother of 3 children and dedicates all of her time not in the office to them.
