Dr. Johnny Lu earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry after completing his Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. Some of you may recognize Dr. Lu from his time at this office, where he previously worked as a receptionist and pre-tester. Returning now as an optometrist is a meaningful full-circle moment, allowing him to combine his early hands-on experience in patient care with his advanced clinical training. Dr. Lu trained in a variety of clinical settings in Boston and Miami and received clinical honours during his externships. His professional interests include specialty contacts and myopia control, and he is excited to provide personalized, high-quality care to patients of all backgrounds. Outside of work, Dr. Lu enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
